Capability 02 · Counter-drone software

See, decide and respond to hostile drones.

Counter-drone software for forces and agencies that protect bases, borders and critical sites: it fuses sensors into one picture, follows every drone and supports a fast, proportionate response.

For

  • Armed forces protecting bases and units
  • Border guards and police
  • Operators of airports and critical infrastructure

02Challenges

Operational challenges

What gets in the way in the field, and how Skyrivet addresses it.

  1. 01

Sensors from different suppliers each show their own screen.

Skyrivet Detect fuses radar, radio, optical and acoustic sensors into one picture.

  2. 02

Too many false alarms, from birds to friendly drones.

Skyrivet Track follows each object and classifies it, so operators look at the drones that matter.

  3. 03

Decisions take too long when a drone is already overhead.

Skyrivet Guard assesses the threat, proposes a response under your rules of engagement and records every step.

  4. 04

Response means are added one by one and never work as a system.

Skyrivet Effect connects jammers, interceptors and other effectors in one engagement chain.

02Platform

One platform, open by design.

A layered counter-drone platform: detection, tracking, command and response, in four products that share one picture and one log.

Products

  • Skyrivet Detect
  • Skyrivet Track
  • Skyrivet Guard
  • Skyrivet Effect
  • Interoperability

Designed to work with SAPIENT for sensors and effectors, ASTERIX for surveillance data, and Link 16 / JREAP for air defense networks, so the counter-drone picture reaches the wider command system.

  • Deployment

Fixed installations for bases and sites, mobile kits for convoys and events, and command posts on sovereign infrastructure.

  • Security

Role-based access, encryption of data in transit and at rest, and a complete log of detections, decisions and actions for later review.

02Use cases

Use cases

How units use Skyrivet software in real missions.

  1. Dim ship bridge at night with a row of consoles, one display showing a circular radar sweep
    01 / 03

    Base and force protection

    Scenario

A forward base is overflown by small drones at night. The guard force needs to know at once what is in the air, where it is going and what it can do about it.

    How Skyrivet is used

    • Radar, radio and optical sensors around the perimeter feed Skyrivet Detect.
    • Skyrivet Track separates drones from birds and friendly aircraft.
    • Skyrivet Guard alerts the duty officer and proposes a response.
    • Every detection and decision is recorded for the after-action review.
  2. Large dish antenna and its mount lit by red warning lights against a starry night sky, seen from below
    02 / 03

    Critical infrastructure

    Scenario

An airport, a power plant or a prison has to detect drones over a large area around the clock, with a small security team.

    How Skyrivet is used

    • Sensors are combined into one map for the security room.
    • Alerts are filtered by zone and by threat level.
    • Response follows the site's procedures and legal authorizations.
    • Logs support reporting to the authorities.
  3. Small quadcopter drone silhouetted against a dark cloudy sky with the sun behind it, above the sea
    03 / 03

    Border and coastal surveillance

    Scenario

Drones are used to smuggle goods across the border and to watch patrols. The threat comes along a wide front, mostly at night.

    How Skyrivet is used

    • Long-range sensors along the border feed one shared picture.
    • Tracks are followed from detection to landing point.
    • Patrols receive the landing point on their devices.
    • Recurring routes reveal patterns over weeks.

Why Skyrivet

Why Skyrivet

  1. 01

    Built for defense

Skyrivet builds software only for defense and security users. Interfaces, workflows and documentation are designed for operators under pressure, not adapted from consumer products.

  2. 02

    Modular

Each product works on its own and with the others. Start with the module you need and add the rest when the mission calls for it.

  3. 03

    Open integration

Designed to work with open defense standards and documented interfaces, so Skyrivet software fits the sensors, vehicles and command systems you already have.

  4. 04

    Your infrastructure, your data

The software runs on your own servers, on sovereign cloud or at the edge. Mission data stays on infrastructure you control.

  5. 05

    Quick to deploy

Packaged to install on standard servers and rugged laptops, with operator training included, so units can move from evaluation to use without a long integration project.

02Who uses it

Who uses it

Frequently asked questions

Do we need new sensors?

Not necessarily. Skyrivet Detect is designed to work with the sensors you already have, and to add new ones over time.

Can civilian operators use the response functions?

Jamming and other active measures are regulated in every country. Civilian sites usually use detection and tracking, and response is left to the competent authorities.

Can it be deployed quickly for an event?

Yes. The software runs on mobile kits as well as on fixed installations.

Is the software available in our country?

Availability depends on export control rules for each country and end user. We confirm it for your organization during the first call.
